Glasgow Refugee/Asylum Seeker Information Project

This project funded by Comic Relief ran from 2004 to 2007. 

Services
GRIP provided the following services for asylum seekers & refugees facing racial harassment:

Representation: on racial harassment issues with the police and other services.

Signposting: access to information on a range of services available, such as police, legal, health, interpreting, housing, employment, leisure - including volunteering opportunities and education – including language support.

Referral: provide direct contact with the appropriate agencies and follow up service to ensure equitable access to services and support.

As part of our outreach work local surgeries are held in order that the above services may be accessed. Please contact us on 0141 337 6626 for information.

Regular surgeries wereheld every Wednesday at Sighthill One Stop Shop (SCOSS).
